What tennis knowledge transfers

Yes. “Padel tennis racket”, “padel bat” and “padel paddle” all mean the same stringless, perforated racket used in padel.
How heavy is a padel racket?
The FIP rules set no weight limit. Check the manufacturer’s stated weight: lighter frames are easier to manoeuvre at the net, and heavier ones are more stable and powerful.
What size are the holes in a padel racket?
Under FIP rules, holes in the central area must be 9–13 mm in diameter. Holes within 4 cm of the edge can be up to 20 mm.
Do padel rackets need a wrist strap?
Yes. FIP rules require a non-elastic safety strap, no longer than 35 cm, worn around the wrist.
