Two systems matter to most UK padel players: the Playtomic level used to organise open matches, and LTA Padel rankings for official competition.
Playtomic levels (0–7)
According to Playtomic:
- The scale runs from 0 to 7, and 7 is the highest.
- Levels are calculated from match results and your opponents’ levels.
- Playing ranked matches moves your level up or down over time.
Because the rating depends on who you play, a new account’s level is only a rough guess until it has several results.
LTA Padel rankings
LTA Padel rankings come from official competition:

For coaches: group players by what they can do (the table above) rather than by app level alone. Two players on the same Playtomic level can have very different wall skills, depending on who they have played.
